TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. The price will be quoted on C&F Islamabad
2. The competent authority reserves the rights to accept or reject any or all of the tenders without assigning any reason.
3. The firm should have sales tax registration number.
4. The technical specifications of the Laser Engraving Machine can be collected from the office of Procurement Department at a cost of Rs. 1000/- in cash (Non- refundable).
5. The income tax shall be deducted at source.
6. The Proposal will be accepted in two separate sealed envelopes marked as technical solution and financial proposal. The financial proposal will be opened after the evaluation of the technical solution/proposal.
7. Both the proposal (technical / financial) will be deposited by 1230 hours on 7th October 2009. Technical proposal will be opened at 13:00 the same day in the presence of the vendors. The date of opening of the financial proposal will be intimated to all concerned through fax / telephone.
8. Those firms who are not short listed / technically recommended their financial quotations will not be considered / opened.
9. 2% earnest money of quoted amount will be deposited alongwith quotation/bid in the shape of Bank Draft / Pay order in favour of HQ NADRA Islamabad.
10. The owner/manufacturer outside Pakistan can quote directly in foreign currency. Serial 3,4,5 & 9 will not be applicable to such bidders. Such bidder can obtain the technical specification through email from abdul.qayyum@nadra.gov.pk

5. The Machine/ Module should have the capacity of integration with NBS personalization system.
6. Quoted price should include Transportation to NADRA Headquarters Islamabad.
7. Quoted price should include extensive training to NADRA, with all Brochures and Manuals.
8. Quoted price should include Installation, Integration, testing and commissioning.
